Kitchen Wall Decorating Ideas Pictures – If you like classic style decorating then consider hanging a number of your selections around the wall. Walls create a great “service” not just for pictures but three-dimensional objects also. Hanging pictures and graphics is catchy, but as soon as you let yourself experimentation you can have a ball creating exciting displays. Unless an object is large or a painting is prominent, one small image hung by itself seems lonely. Pairs and groupings operate better. Recently I wrapped four identically framed black and white pencil and inks in a row on one of my kitchen walls. Mounting them at a lineup gave the room a more contemporary appearance. You can also stack pictures two on top and two on the bottom or other combinations of numbers.
When things share some thing in common they form a pleasant outfit. 1 collector showed me how she grouped heaps of classic wedding pictures of couples together. Since all of the photos had a subject to them, they formed an intriguing collection. The brownish tone of all of these classic photos served to organize the collection supplying a harmonious visual presentation. Another enthusiastic collector of 1950’s ” Paint By Number” pictures coated his counseling office wall along with his collection of these funky colorful framed retro art pieces.
Many whimsical collectibles can be found at flea markets and make for interesting “art” when displayed in groups. Look at hanging classic pocketbooks, bud covers, mirrors, toy shovels, keys, tin ceiling tiles etc.. A massive collection of small flea market paintings all with various frames can also work well if the overall appearance is a wall filled with similar sized frames. Within this creation, you are spacing pictures equally apart but organizing them as you would a jigsaw puzzle.
This sort of mounting works well on the walls bordering staircases. Three-dimensional objects can be enclosed in a profound plexiglass shadow box frame and mounted on the wall. You don’t have to stick to a “style” or layout period. It’s always exciting to mix up the appearance. Add classic to urban or modern chic to classic.
Older objects and pictures warm-up chambers, while more contemporary accessories supply a clean crisp look. Insert the unexpected to your walls and sit back an enjoy your layout work. The very best part of wall decoration is it can be altered so easily whenever you are ready for a brand new idea.
